The New Me

A lot has transpired since my last post. I’ve become very in tune with my sober side. Life itself is changing very quickly before my eyes. The beautiful thing about it is that I no longer have to use drugs to feel peace and joy in my life.

Ever since I started this new journey things have become clearer and clearer. The life i lead, I no longer have to, I no longer have to get high to enjoy life on life’s terms. I have a new found love in life, and that is being sober and peaceful. That’s caring for my children and having a new found love for everyone in my life, even if they don’t love me back. It’s called unconditional love for a reason.

For once I begin to see the beauty in everything. Meditation helps me clear my mind. Praying keeps me spiritually full. Working the steps with my sponsor keeps me mentally on point. Loving others and building relationships is all so new to me, but it is definitely working very well.
